Hilton Lake Taupo

The room was warm and inviting, with a heated bathroom floor that added a nice touch to the experience. I appreciated the spacious setting, and the friendly staff frequently reached out to ensure I had everything I needed. Breakfast from the Bistro Lago was notably delicious, with options that included good curries. Some facilities could use better maintenance, as there were minor issues with cleanliness in public areas, and parking was somewhat limited during peak times.

This hotel exceeded all expectations in every way, recommend. The place was relaxing and had generally very friendly and efficient staff in particular the restaurant manager, appreciated the stay. The location was marvellous and the atmosphere was elegant! It was across the cozy area. The king guest room was heated and functional, perfect for my needs. An electric kettle, fridges and glassware worked well.

Views appeared to be nothing special.

The hotel offers fine views over the lake that create a serene atmosphere. The room was impeccably clean and showcased excellent maintenance. I particularly enjoyed the well-insulated windows that kept any noise at bay, nice for a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, the overall warmth of the room.

The mattress could have offered better support for a more comfortable night's rest.

The rooms were very big and the restaurant food was very yummy.

It was a little too far out of the town of Taupo.

It has favourable location and private parking if needed. 10 minutes drive to the airport, it is located in the underground so parked down the hill.

The room was cozy, and I loved the heated floors in the bathroom – such a nice touch! I really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor swimming pool and the spa center, which made my stay even better. Just a heads up, the complimentary coffee at the restaurant could have been more diverse, but overall, I'd definitely come back. 😊

Very nice appartments in the new part of the Hotel. Nice pool area, with a small hot pool. Sauna and steam bath (steam out of order during our stay). We enjoyed that quite some other families with children were in the hotel. Very friendly staff!

The Hotel is luxurious and quiet. All the facilities are there and the view from the room across the Lake and to the snow covered mountains was breathtaking. The sun through the windows in the afternoon was welcoming particularly as during our stay the weather was cold and icy. The town has great shopping both for souvenirs and clothing. Plenty of good restaurants. The Prawn Farm Restaurant in particular - a 5 min drive - was different and the prawns fresh and large and juicy. I would stay again in the Hilton on our next visit to Taupo.

The pools and heated spa were a hit with the kids! The room was clean.

was upgraded a room, from the king room, and ended up with very limited view of the lake and the other scenery was a mess of excavated eye-sore. free parking had no footpath and was a 200m walk to our room. No explanation on how to put card into slot to make lights work.

In my wife's opinion, the chaos at the pool could be improved, especially with more rules enforced. Family-friendly activities within the hotel should be better organized.

I was looking for a special holiday for my family as my daughter was going overseas and I wanted us to have some good memories to share before she went. We all loved our apartment: spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable-everything one would expect from the Hilton really. It met our expectations and made our last two days together memorable and I am so glad I chose Hilton Lake Taupo.
